Immediate-flow, even in sub-zero temperatures, all repairs can be made from the head of the unit, adjustable link provides an easy adjustment for positive shut-off, rod guide reduces wear on packing, packing nut and brass stem. Flow finder and lock automatically sets the same flow each time or can be locked against accidental opening. One-piece variable-flow plunger and the large cushion type seal for long life, assuring shut-off, even when foreign particles are present in the water line. Graphite packing for lubricity and long-life. Hot-dipped galvanized pipe casing and operating pipe stem. Automatic draining when hydrant is shut off.
